Partner Feedback 2024
Do We Really Walk the Talk? What Our Partners Say
Trust-based philanthropy is an important part of our work. We put a lot of emphasis on building trust and relationships that allow for honest conversations, reflection, and shared learning. Ideally, our partners feel they can speak openly about their challenges—and also give critical feedback on our work.
In our experience, many funders aim for this kind of relationship, but it’s hard to know if it’s really the case. One way to check is through anonymous feedback. That’s why, since the beginning, we’ve been asking our partners for their views in an annual anonymous survey.
We’re humbled by this year’s results and hope they truly reflect that our approach is working. Feedback like “excellent listeners” and “so approachable” makes us feel grateful and encouraged.
Curious to see how we’ve evolved over the years—and what actions we’re taking in response to the feedback? Take a look at the summary:

While the summary includes some reflections on how to interpret such positive results, we also just want to say thank you. We’re honoured by messages like this:
“Many foundations make the grant application and reporting process challenging for their partners. However, the Azurit Foundation takes a thorough yet thoughtful and straightforward approach that is not overly demanding. Their reporting process is smooth, and we never feel pressured when working with the Azurit team. Their open and frequent communication fosters a sense of understanding, making us feel like true partners on our journey of organizational growth and milestones. The team is not only approachable but also incredibly kind. A heartfelt thank you.”
